Welcome to Parable Skate Co. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Parable Skate Co. website and your purchase of products through our online store.
By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law.
1. About Parable Skate Co.
Parable Skate Co. is an independent skate shop based in Kanata, Ontario, Canada.
Our online store offers skateboarding products and related goods, including:

2. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, specifications, colours, availability, and pricing are accurate.
However, product photographs and colours may appear differently depending on your device or display.
Manufacturers may also change product specifications, colours, packaging, or other details without notice.
We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to update product information at any time.
3. Pricing and Taxes
All prices are displayed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.
Applicable taxes, including HST where required, will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before an order is accepted and processed.
4. Orders
Submitting an order through the website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.
After you place an order, you should receive an order confirmation.
An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that Parable Skate Co. has accepted the order in every circumstance. We may contact you if there is an issue with your order, including a pricing error, inventory issue, suspected fraud, or other problem.
If we are unable to fulfill an order that has been paid for, we will provide an appropriate refund for the unavailable product or order, subject to applicable law.
5. Payment
Online payments are processed through Square and the payment methods made available through Square at checkout.
You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided for your purchase.
6. Shipping
Parable Skate Co. currently ships within Canada only.
Shipping is:
- Free on orders of $150 or more before taxes
- $20 flat rate on orders under $150 before taxes
Orders may be shipped using Canada Post or UPS.
Tracking information will be provided when available after the order has shipped.
Shipping times are estimates and may be affected by carrier delays, weather, holidays, service disruptions, incorrect addresses, or circumstances outside Parable Skate Co.’s reasonable control.
7. Local Pickup
Customers in the Ottawa area may select local pickup where that option is available at checkout.
Local pickup is provided at no additional charge and is arranged by appointment.
Customers will be notified when their order is ready for pickup.
8. Returns and Exchanges
Our return and exchange rules are described in our Shipping & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
9. Gift Cards
Gift cards are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund except where required by applicable law.
10. Parable Skate Co. Products
Parable-branded skateboard decks are commercially manufactured decks using existing/preset deck shapes, with Parable Skate Co. graphics.
Parable Skate Co. does not represent these decks as custom structural designs or modifications to the underlying deck shape.
11. Intellectual Property
The Parable Skate Co. name, logos, graphics, photographs, text, designs, website content, and other original materials associated with Parable Skate Co. are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or commercially exploit our original content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
Product names, logos, trademarks, and other intellectual property belonging to third-party manufacturers remain the property of their respective owners.
12. Product Reviews
Customers may be permitted to submit product reviews and ratings.
Reviews should reflect genuine customer experiences and must not contain unlawful, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, fraudulent, defamatory, or spam content.
Parable Skate Co. reserves the right to remove or decline to publish reviews that violate these requirements.
We do not guarantee that every submitted review will be published.
