Shipping
Parable Skate Co. currently ships within Canada only.
Shipping Rates
- Orders of $150 or more before taxes: FREE shipping
- Orders under $150 before taxes: $20 flat-rate shipping
Shipping includes tracking and $100 of carrier insurance coverage where applicable.
Orders may be shipped through Canada Post or UPS.
Once your order has shipped, we will provide tracking information when available.
Shipping times are estimates only. Parable Skate Co. is not responsible for carrier delays, weather, holidays, service disruptions, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Local Pickup
Customers in the Ottawa area may select local pickup when available.
Local pickup is free and is arranged by appointment.
You will be notified when your order is ready for pickup.
Returns
Eligible products may be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase.
To be eligible for a return, the product must:
- Be unused
- Be in its original condition
- Be in its original packaging where applicable
- Have original tags attached where applicable
- Not have been assembled, altered, damaged, worn, or otherwise used
Proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation or receipt, is required.
Skateboard Deck Returns
Skateboard decks must remain in their original condition to be eligible for return.
A deck is not eligible for return if:
- The original plastic wrapping has been removed
- Grip tape has been applied
- The deck has been assembled into a skateboard
- The deck has been used
- The deck has been altered or damaged
This applies regardless of whether the deck is a Parable Skate Co. branded deck or another brand.
Other Final-Sale Products
The following products are final sale and are not eligible for return except where required by applicable law:
- Gift cards
- Clothing that has been worn or washed
- Socks and undergarments
- Used products
- Assembled skateboards or components
- Gripped skateboard decks
- Products damaged after purchase
- Products that have otherwise been altered or used
Parable Skate Co. branded products are not automatically final sale merely because they carry Parable branding. They remain subject to the applicable return requirements above.
Defective or Damaged Products
If you receive a product that is defective or damaged upon arrival, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
We may request photographs or other information to help determine the appropriate resolution.
Where appropriate, Parable Skate Co. may provide a replacement, exchange, repair, store credit, refund, or other remedy.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.
Exchanges
Exchanges may be available for defective or damaged products.
For a non-defective product, the customer may return the product if it meets the ordinary return requirements above and place a new order for the desired item, subject to availability.
Refunds
Once an eligible return has been received and inspected, we will notify you whether the return has been approved.
If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method, subject to applicable processing times.
Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable where a customer simply changes their mind or otherwise returns an eligible product voluntarily.
The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error by Parable Skate Co., a defective product, damage occurring before delivery, or where applicable law requires otherwise.
Return Shipping
Customers should contact Parable Skate Co. before sending a return so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that returned products are packaged appropriately and, where appropriate, using a trackable shipping service.
Parable Skate Co. is not responsible for a return that is lost or damaged in transit when the customer has arranged the return shipment, except where otherwise required by law.
